Questions we often get from clients
Do you do meth testing or screening?
No — testing and screening are not part of our service. You need to engage an independent, IANZ-accredited meth testing company to test your property first. Once you have a positive result, call us.
What do I need to have before contacting you?
You need a positive meth test result from an accredited lab, showing contamination levels by room (in µg/100cm²). We use these results to assess scope and quote accurately.
What does the compliance certificate cover?
Our certificate documents the decontamination work carried out — rooms treated, products used, methodology, and technician details — all referenced to NZS 8510:2017 and the 2026 Regulations. It is accepted by insurers, property managers, council, and the Tenancy Tribunal.
Do you do post-decontamination clearance testing?
No. Clearance testing after decontamination is also the client's responsibility. We recommend you arrange a post-decontamination test with your independent testing company to confirm levels are within acceptable limits.
How quickly can you start?
In most major centres, we can have a team on-site within 48–72 hours of quote acceptance. For urgent situations , please contact us directly, and we will do everything possible to prioritise your job.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. We work regularly with major NZ insurers, loss adjusters, and property management companies. We can communicate directly with your insurer and provide documentation in their preferred format.
Do you cover the whole of New Zealand?
Yes. We have certified teams across Gisborne, New Plymouth, Tauranga, Taupo, Wellington Region, Auckland, Hamilton and surrounding regions. For rural or remote properties, contact us to discuss logistics and timeframes.
